Marylebone envelopes several enclaves that have their own distinct feel. Edgware Road is Londons Little Middle East, Oxford Street is filled with open mouthed tourists and harried Christmas shoppers and Marylebone High Street is home to trendy boutiques.

Baker Street is a street in the Marylebone district of the City of Westminster in London. Baker St is a busy thoroughfare. It runs south from Regents Park, the intersection with Park Road, parallel to Gloucester Place, intersecting Marylebone Road, York Street, Portman Square and Wigmore Street. At the intersection with Wigmore St, Baker St turns into Orchard Street, which ends when it intersects with Oxford Street. The street is served by the London Underground by Baker Street tube station; next to the station is Transport for Londons lost property office. Baker Street Station is the worlds first underground station.

Mayfair is an area of central London, within the City of Westminster. Mayfair is roughly bordered by Hyde Park to the west, Oxford Street to the north, Piccadilly and Green Park to the south and Regent Street to the east. Most of the area was first developed between the mid 17th century and the mid 18th century as a fashionable residential district, by a number of landlords, the most important of them the Grosvenor family. The Rothschild family bought up large areas of Mayfair in the 19th century. The freehold of a large section of Mayfair also belongs to the Crown Estate. The renown and prestige of Mayfair has grown in the popular mind due to its designation as the most expensive property on the British Monopoly set.
